Our products are custom framing-grade heirloom-quality keepsakes built to last years into the future. Competitors' items are novelty products which yellow over time due to cheap plywood, laser smoke/residue.

There are no holes cut into the top of the frame for bugs/dust to enter. The top of the frame is easily removed to expose the hidden slots, drop the pieces into, reposition them if needed.

Our guest book was designed so that the drop in pieces do not overlap each other - competitors’ products DO overlap.

Due to limitations with our equipment and software, and in order to maintain overall quality as well as production efficiency, we do not have other font styles available.

We suggest using an archival pigment pen that is lightfast available here: http://www.etsy.com/WeddingGuestbook/listing/184189519/. We DO NOT SUGGEST SHARPIES. They are not lightfast and will fade over time (although can be used for metallic color matboard drop in hearts for guests to sign).

The metallic color matboard drop in pieces are not ideal for guests to sign. The pigment pens and gel pens can wipe off or smear - sharpies do work on all colors. If you select a metallic center heart color, we put a laminate over the inscription to prevent smudges and smears.

Each frame is a framing-grade high quality metal or wood frame. We use 1/8" thick impact-resistant acrylic (same thickness as glass, 17x more impact resistant, making it safer/durable).

Background, Center Heart, Center Accent Heart, Color Matboard Drop In Pieces:
-Made from archival grade picture framing matboard, the same matboard that is used in traditional picture framing

Unfinished Wood Drop In Pieces:
-Birch wood with a natural unfinished wood tone - they do not have a burned finish on the edges which would omit carcinogenic toxins.

The top is easily removed for the event exposing the slots to drop the pieces into. Guests sign a piece and then drop it into the top of the frame. We purposely do not have open slots cut into the top of the frame due to damage these cause (see "What Makes Your Product Different" FAQ above). After the event, the top is reattached to create a permanent display that will last for years to come. We include instructions with each order.

Each guest book is completely customizable for your special day, and comes fully assembled and ready to use (including drop in pieces).
