● Signing pens are not included, but are sold separately. We suggest using an archival pigment pen that is lightfast. We DO NOT SUGGEST SHARPIES because they are not lightfast and will fade over time (although can be used for metallic color matboards for guests to sign). There are no holes cut into the top of the frame for bugs/dust to enter. The top of the frame is easily removed to expose the hidden slots, drop the pieces into, reposition them if needed.

Each frame is a framing-grade high quality metal or wood frame. We use 1/8" thick impact-resistant acrylic (same thickness as glass, 17x more impact resistant, making it safer/durable).

Unfinished Wood Drop In Pieces:
-Birch wood with a natural unfinished wood tone - they do not have a burned finish on the edges which would omit carcinogenic toxins.

The top is easily removed for the event exposing the slots to drop the pieces into. Guests sign a piece and then drop it into the top of the frame. We purposely do not have open slots cut into the top of the frame due to damage these cause (see "What Makes Your Product Different" FAQ above). After the event, the top is reattached to create a permanent display that will last for years to come. We include instructions with each order.

Each guest book is completely customizable for your special day, and comes fully assembled and ready to use (including drop in pieces).

Select a frame color and style, the drop-in heart color(s), the center heart color, text + date inscription, and back mat color. There are thousands of combinations possible.
